If you’re a TEFL teacher and you’re teaching online through a Chinese company, we’re sure you’ll already have had some sort of email from your employer advising you that there have been changes within the Ministry of Education and you need to get your TEFL certificate verified. Your initial thought might be to panic – but don’t! We’re here to let you know exactly what you need to do.
What do I need to do?
The good news is, if you got TEFL qualified with us, your employer can verify your TEFL certificate themselves! Just send them the below links – it’ll literally take them 2 seconds.

What if they won’t verify it themselves?
If your employer won’t verify the certificate themselves, or they need a direct email from us, don’t worry. Just drop our Customer Support Team an email on [email protected] with your details and they’ll verify your certificate as soon as possible.
What if I can’t get my certificate verified?
If you completed your TEFL course with a different company who can’t verify, or you completed it so long ago that you don’t have enough hours, you can easily complete another TEFL course. If you opt for an online course with the minimum hours you need to comply with the Ministry of Education and dedicate as much time as possible to it, you could complete it in no time. All our courses are UK Government regulated and comply with the Ministry of Education, so you know you’re in safe hands with us.
Good luck!
