Q: How can I improve my job chances with this course?

Q: Do I need to know English grammar and grammatical rules?
Let’s face it, for most of us grammar wasn’t our favourite subject at school and you’ve probably forgotton all about it!
Don’t let this put you off though! If you’re a native speaker or fluent in English, you’ll have a natural understanding of grammar – it’s all about turning that knowledge into teachable rules – that’s where our TEFL training comes in!

Q: Are there any age restrictions?

Q: Do I need to be a native English speaker?
The good news is you don’t need to be a native English speaker to succeed at this course or teaching English but our recommendation for you would be to opt for our 120 Hour TEFL course (you can always upgrade later), unless your standard of English is near-native.

Q: Do I need any qualifications to take a TEFL course or diploma?
You don’t need to have any qualifications or experience for this course! The only requirement is that you are can speak English fluently. There’s also no need to worry if you don’t have a bachelor’s degree, it’s not required for our courses and you can teach English online or abroad without one. If you don’t have a degree, then to have the best chance at bagging yourself a TEFL job we recommend you take our Online TEFL Diploma (420 Hours).
